Steaming your face once a week is a great way to help free all the dirt, bacteria, leftover makeup, or dead cells that may be trapped inside your pores. The heated moisture will open up the pores on your face allowing your skin t0 better absorb products you may use afterwards such as acne fighting creams, anti-aging serums and toners. Steaming your face once a week may also stimulate blood circulation which can give your skin a natural glow. If you don’t have a personal face steamer another effective way to steam your face is shown in the picture above. This is how you can prepare your own steamer: First begin to heat up a pot of water for a few minutes. As the water begins to steam, take the pot and pour the water into a huge bowl (be careful not to burn yourself)! Next place a towel on top of your head hovering around you like so. This will allow the steam from escaping. Keep a fair amount of distance from the bowl so that you do not burn yourself. Steam your face for 10-15 minutes. Apply your favorite skincare product and gently massage your face for a minute or two. Your skin will instantly feel rejuvenated and luxuriously fresh.

You may want to keep in mind that less is more, this method should only be used once a week. Steaming your face too frequently may aggravate your skin. Enjoy!
